Deer Fencing Posts

Deer fencing posts are required in areas where the spacing between trees exceeds twenty feet, or in locations completely void of trees. Our Heavy Duty Deer Fencing Posts, which are constructed from 1 5/8" diameter galvanized steel pipe, are available to match every fence height we offer. These deer fencing posts can be spaced 15'–20' apart, and come with top caps that keep water out.





Each of our Heavy Duty Deer Fencing Posts also includes a 30" insert (post sleeve) that is first driven into the ground to make a receptacle for the post. (It is best to create a pilot hole by driving a 1" steel bar into the ground prior to driving the insert). Not only do our inserts eliminate the need for climbing a ladder or digging holes to drive the posts into the ground, but they also allow for creation of temporary barriers that can be easily taken down and then re-installed as necessary. A dimpled stopping point located 22" down each insert keeps the pipe at the proper height for the deer fencing.

Available to match every fence height we offer, our Garden Fencing Posts are powder coated with a baked on black finish. They also have pre-drilled holes which can be easily attached to the fencing. These fencing posts have some flexibility to them, so it is recommended that they are used for smaller garden enclosures where vertical fencing support is more important than the actual strength of the fencing post.

This product is ideal for small vegetable gardens and flowerbed areas. They are not deer fencing posts and are not recommended for perimeter fencing support. Note: No Driving Cap is necessary.

The Corner Brace Kit is used in conjunction with our Heavy Duty Deer Fencing Posts or Corner/Gate Post to make a very sturdy, internally supported corner. It is well suited as a corner support for a large enclosure using our Nylon Tension Cable.

The Corner Brace Kit consists of 2, 9’-long x 1 3/8" diameter (galvanized and black coated) braces that are buried 18" alongside the fence on the inside of the enclosed area. They then attach diagonally part way up the post (not included) with a band and cup (included).

Our Corner/Gate Posts are an SS40 weight post used on larger jobs that require cabling to add strength to braced corners and gates. The wall of the pipe is twice as thick as the Heavy Duty Deer Fencing Posts, making it very stable and rigid. Corner/Gate Posts use the same sleeve (included) as our Heavy Duty Deer Fencing Posts.
