I've now finished gardening for the summer and this was the first year of using The White House Garden Kit. WOW! It sure does keep the deer away.

For a few years I tried various methods; all worked a little bit but by the end of the summer the deer usually had destroyed most of the garden.

So last spring I installed the fence kit and the deer were NEVER in my garden all summer long.

Almost every day I would see 6 to 10 deer roaming around the yard, often quite close to the garden.

Last week after clearing out the garden of all the plants, I left the gate open. Within an hour there was a large buck inside the fence snacking on old tomatoes. The deer probably were inspecting the garden all summer, but the fence fooled them and they could never get in.

We here at the Belmont Hills Library cannot thank you enough for your generous donation of $369.00 deer fencing kit and bottle of animal repellent for our benefit on Fri Oct 15th at the Belmont Hills Firehouse. This will be used in our gardening basket which we will raffle off. These items were just what we needed to make this event a success.

Our little library is in desperate need of donations for this benefit and we thank you for answering our plea. Donations are down from this time last year due to the economy. This fund raiser will help provide our patrons with new materials and resources that our community needs.

I purchased a very large roll of your standard deer fencing probably more than fifteen years ago. We used it to enclose a large vegetable garden and it worked wonderfully. We have since moved the garden and moved the fencing as well. This product is pretty indestructible! And we have used it for so much more than just enclosing our garden for deer protection We have used it as a cover for our chicken runs. We have covered our ponds to keep herons and raccoons out. We’ve used it as a trellis for growing gourds and other climbers. I’m sure we’ll come up with many more uses as well!

Just a short note to say "Thanks" to you and your team. Your team was so precise in the installation that they completely alleviated my anxiety over the "look" of the fence. Also, when I had a deer run into the fence shortly after the installation, you did not hesitate to help me with the repair. Expecting a "deer-free" future.

It does the job! I've lived here for 30 years and I have 27 fruit trees on 2 ½ acres, this is the first year I've gotten to eat my own tree-ripened pears. I bought 1200 of the fence and I plan to buy 1200 more in the near future.

Extremely happy with this fence. Last year we lost our entire orchard on 1/3 of an acre to the Pacific Coast deer we have in this area. This year, (after the fence was installed) we have fruit! It's actually fun to watch the deer FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE! This is an excellent product and I received excellent service. I'm sending some pictures to you of the deer frolicking on the other side of the fence.

Dear Joan, It's such a pleasure to find a product that lives up to its promises and exceeds our expectations. The Benner's fence has been a great success for us. We've used it to enclose our 2-acre yard abutting conservation land, and it's been fabulous in keeping the deer out and our four big dogs in. We were initially nervous about spoiling the woodland view with a tall fence, but--as promised--it's been virtually invisible. My husband and I are not terribly handy people, but we had no trouble installing the fence ourselves. The combination of the "Z" stakes and the tensile wire have kept the dogs in and thwarted the escape efforts of our most determined digger. Best of all, the cost of installing the Benner's fence ourselves was a fraction of the cost of other options for uglier, shorter, and less effective barriers. Since the Benner's fence has been in place, our gardens have flourished, and we've found virtually NO DEER TICKS in our yard or on our dogs. This has been a great solution for us, and we've recommended it to many friends.

Dear Benners,

After reading the testimonials on your website, I realized that the there were none from the Rocky Mountains which are filled with huge mule deer. I worried that the fence would be too low to keep them out (all of the fencers here suggest 10 feet if you really want to keep them out). Desperate to keep the herd of mule deer out of my yard, I decided to give it a try. I purchased the fencing and despite my 5 foot 2 inch body frame, I was able to install it myself in an afternoon.

You are correct, it is virtually invisable and I can still enjoy the woods that line my yard. Most people don't even notice the fence until I point it out to them. Best yet, it has kept the herd of mule deer out! My husband told me the great joy he felt as the deer looked in at their normal feeding spot. My beets and carrots are growing strong, my pansies are flourishing, and my shrubs look great.

It's a great product, my fence has been up 5 years. I'm surrounded by woods; and I'm near a pond. We've developed a large vegetable garden and are now working on a fruit garden. We haven't had a problem with deer since we put up the fence 5 years ago.

I wanted to reiterate how successful our six-year old deer fence has been. We live on a two acre wooded property and fenced the perimeter of most of it. There are deer roaming the area everyday, but they have never jumped or broken through our fencing. We did not choose to add the cable along the top of the fence, and despite this, the fencing has remained strong even in inclement weather. Only minor repairs from time to time have been required. We are very pleased with your products.

"Just wanted to let you know I'm really pleased with the way my deer fence is working. I installed your fence myself around about 1/3 of an acre of my property more than 2 years ago, and there have been zero deer inside until a couple weeks ago, when Hurricane Isabel knocked some trees down on the fence.During the storm I had one very large oak tree come down, taking about 5 other trees with it. The result was that nearly 100' of the fence was flattened. After I had a tree service remove the trees from the fence area, however, I was able to reinstall the fence in one day. About 80% of the fence fabric was reusable, and simply had to be reattached to the same trees and poles. I used leftover fencing from the original installation to do the rest, rerouting it through some remaining trees. I do need to extend it beyond its original area, so I have ordered three more poles from you today. I can't imagine any other fencing system being so adaptable and easy to keep working."

We have recently installed your "Heavy Perimeter - Deer Fencing" on Nature Conservancy preserve property as part of an experimental forest health monitoring project. The goal of this project is to quantify the effects of white-tailed deer on native herbaceous plants and hardwood regeneration within the forest. Monitoring transects established in connection with this project are intended to be permanent reference points for documenting these effects into the future.

Mr. John Korfel, Regional sales manager for "Deer Fencers" in Winchester, CT has been most helpful throughout the early decision making stages of this project and providing assistance with the installation. Mr. Korfel demonstrated an in-depth working knowledge of the product and was especially helpful with selecting the fence and accessories that were needed for our specific application. I was most impressed with his expertise and willingness to assist with all facets of the job including two field visits to the site and his personal hands-on assistance during the actual installation.

The fence has been up since August 2003, and to date we have had no problems despite heavy winds in a forested setting and the presence of a high density (we estimate 80-100/sq. mile) deer herd.

Fence does really well keeping deer out. Quality of product is great. The system really works well.

I like this fencing because of it's invisibility and strength. It's UV treated so it won't break down like some I've seen in the stores and it's easy to put up. My clients love it because they now can have a garden where they couldn't have one before because of the deer. I personally have it around my greenhouse and people can see my greenhouse from the road because the fence is so invisible.

Botanical Garden Staff I'm using the fencing around my own property. It's great to work with and invisible. Most fencing is downright ugly but this is so inconspicuous. It's so durable and UV treated, so I'm very confident it'll give me good service for years to come.

We have 5 acres of grapevines to protect. We are 100% pleased with this fencing. The appearance, endurance and functionality is superb.

We had a great deal of deer pressure before we installed Benner's fence and now it's no longer a problem.

I've been working with this material for 8 years and I'm very pleased with the durability and the strength of it. Even using the 330' roll is no problem for one guy. The clients love the invisibility and the way it holds up year after year. I've had no problems working with it all these years.

Here at Cuttalosa Farm we have been using Benner's deer fence since 1995 for the following jobs:

1. Totally protecting our gardens and grounds from deer damage. And, we have noticed a sharp decrease in the number of ticks on our property carried by the deer.
2. We now use the fence for keeping deer off our sheep pastures. We breed miniature Babydoll Sheep. There are times when deer droppings can be extremely hazardous to sheep due to a parasite found in their droppings.
3. We cut the deer fence to 24" high and circled the edges of our trout pond. This stops the heron from killing our trout and the black color is practically invisible.

Benner's deer fence has really lived up to its reputation for keeping deer (and herons) off our property. I think we tested just about every product on the market for repelling deer. But nothing comes close to the total protection we receive from Benner's deer fencing…It is hard to imagine not having this outstanding product."

Just wanted to let you know that I am VERY impressed with my deer fence! We are in Wayne County, PA, where the deer are very plentiful, and I hoped it would work but didn't expect it to work as well as it has. I have a small nursery and have lost thousands of dollars worth of plants over the last 4 years. This winter, other than once when they pushed underneath in a place where the stones prohibited me from anchoring it securely, the deer had stayed OUTSIDE my fence, looking in longingly and circling it many times.

My teenage sons and I installed our fence last fall, using mostly existing trees and a few of your posts and sleeves. It went in so easily and looks a lot better than a wire fence would have. I have learned a couple things that might be of help to others working with solid boulders like part of our ground is. For the problem of deer crawling under where it cannot be anchored, I took a 10' length of 4' tall wire fencing that I had on hand and attached it with zip ties at about the 18" height on the fence, then bent it so that it went to the ground and then straight out for 2 1/2'. I placed boulders on it, and they have not gotten under since. Also, we had several places where there were no trees to attach to, and it was impossible to dig hole or drive sleeves either one. So we filled an old tire with concrete and put the post into it, bracing it until the cement hardened. Then rolled it to the site and attached the fencing to it. They are amazingly stable and for here and there the have worked great!

Again, thanks for your product. I did a lot of research before choosing your fence, and I am very satisfied and am recommending it to anyone who needs a fence that works.

Thank you for your generous and outstanding contribution to our Holiday season's Open House Event. It was a pleasure working with you, Joan Camilli, and your staff.

Santa, his elves and his reindeer were greeting visitors and friends with candy canes, cookies and beverages. Snow was on the ground. It was quite a festive scene.

The deer fence you provided made a great enclosure in which both children and adults could safely meet and pet Santa's reindeer, have pictures taken, and share time with one another.

This is a great product. We needed to protect endangered plants from the deer and it's worked beautifully for six years.

Our volunteers would plant and then go back one week later to see what was left… usually not much. This has not been the case since installing Benner's fence.

The people I've sold this fencing to are very delighted with it. It's very effective for deer exclusion and also to keep in dogs and cats. It's an easy system to install, very cost effective compared to wire fencing. Wood is painstaking, wire is very heavy, this is easy to haul and very cost effective compared to wire. Our installers have just completed an 800' job and the clients are thrilled. I also have a client (woman) who installed this fencing all by herself ! She loved not having to struggle with a cumbersome piece of material. This fence is a real quality product, once it is seen, it practically sells itself.

Benner's Heavy Perimeter Fencing is proving itself to he a highly-effective alternative to metal fencing for large enclosures. The estate pictured below is located in Northern New Jersey. This property has had in excess of 40 acres successfully protected with our product for well over four years now. Because of the sheer size of the project, high-tensile reinforcement cable was run along the top, 3' up from the ground (the deer impact zone) and at ground level for reinforcement. The fencing is also inspected periodically to check for fallen limbs.
