Benner’s Gardens continues to be an active participant in local communities. We are active in various charitable, non-profit and community causes (including contributions to the Flight 93 Memorial, WWII Museum in New Orleans, LA, and the American Legion). We have and are currently engaged with numerous other community and non-profit causes and have partnered with universities such as Penn State University, Ohio State University, University of Purdue, Butler University and UNC-Charlotte, as well as large garden and re-introduction projects with prestigious institutions such as West Point and Cornell University (project completed in 2009). We also encourage any groups, schools or organizations (including community gardens) who wish to establish vegetable and/or flower gardens or other outdoor planting/educational projects to contact us for help. We have worked with secondary schools and high schools, churches and synagogues from California to Maine (and Canada) establish and protect their gardens, landscape and property from deer and other wildlife with our virtually invisible, affordable and easily installed fencing. A Benner’s Deer Fence System will KEEP DEER OUT!
When it comes to enclosing property, protection begins with Benner’s Gardens high deer fence and dog fence. Benner’s high deer fencing systems are comprised of UV-treated black poly that is stretched into a grid-like pattern (1.75”x 1.75”). This unique construction creates a strong, durable barrier that is simultaneously lightweight and easy to manage. The thin, “virtually invisible” profile makes the high deer fence systems aesthetically pleasing to the property-owner because it blends right into any landscape design. A Benner’s Gardens high deer fence system will form a highly effective barrier in almost any environment and we provide all of the accessories needed for easy installation. Benner’s high deer fence is a proven means of deterring deer from your landscape. Deer have poor vision and terrible depth perception. The black color of the fence coupled with the narrow profile makes it almost impossible for deer to see it. At full installation height of 7 ft. tall, deer will not be able to see where the high deer fence starts and stops and thus will not be able to jump over it.
Benner’s Gardens Heavy Perimeter high deer fence is the best choice for enclosing areas over a 1/4 acre with high deer pressure or established deer paths. In smaller areas where deer impact is less likely, Benner’s Gardens Standard high deer fence may be the more suitable option. Available in heights ranging from 5 to 7.5 feet, it is an extremely easy system to install and remove, either seasonally or as needed for service.
