This is our category page where we list our different strengths of rounded strand poly garden fencing material in different sizes. This fencing is typically used to create a garden fence, or any fence where you want to keep animals in or out.
Roll size example: 7.5 x 100 refers to a roll of fencing that is 7 1/2 feet wide by 100 feet long
These garden fence rolls are shipped full length and not folded in half. Folded, flat strand material is usually without structure and not suitable for animal containment or exclusion. Our fence material has structure and when unrolling stands up on its own and is not floppy like soccer net material.
It's important to note that not all poly fencing is made the same way. If you can pull and break a sample with your hands it's probably not going to work well for you.
Please note: this type of poly fencing alone for gardens is not chew proof in any strength. It's best used to keep out non chewing animals like deer. A good example would be to install a poly fence around a row of arborvitae that deer are eating or around a garden area where you are not concerned with small animals like rabbits. For most gardens, a very popular configuration is to pair this poly fence with a small opening size rodent barrier steel base - please see our garden fence kits with chew barrier. We also have one inch and smaller opening size black PVC coated metal in full width fence rolls (8ft, 7 1/2 ft, 7ft etc).
All of our poly Critterfence brand fencing is a semi-rounded strand design. This is different than most of the poly deer fence material on the market which is flat strand. Rounded strand deer fencing is stronger per pound, less visible, lasts longer in sunlight and has less stretch to it. Flat strand plastic fencing has a 3-7 year useful life compared to 15-25 years for rounded strand. Flat strand fencing also tends to tear more easily.
These rolls are shipped with one finished edge and one bottom edge. This means that the top is smooth without burrs or prickly ends to cut your hands. This is especially important if you're using our material as a dog fence or for animal containment.
